Do you believe in Miracles?
Thank you for visiting A Place of Miracles.
We are the O'Neill family and we invite you into our lives to share a story about hope, love, massive personal development and acceptance. We are sharing our story with you because we hope that some part of our journey might resonate with you and help you to live a more peacefull and happy life and maybe even learn to live in the 'now' and enjoy the most of every moment.
You too may have been through the bewildering and terrifying experience of sitting in a Doctor's office and being told that your beautiful brand new baby, has been born with a chronic condition called Cystic Fibrosis or some other condition that currently has no cure. In the blink of an eye your life is tipped upside down and inside out and you go numb with the shock.
We experienced this situation about 6 years ago when our second child Liam was born with Cystic Fibrosis and this was after going through the trauma of losing our baby daughter Lily from complications from the same condition in early 2001.
If you have experienced this life changing situation, you know that sinking feeling of desolation and absolute terror that fills you once the enormity of the Doctor's words sink in.
We want to share with you some of the personal development, coping mechanisims, general health tips and dietary info we have learnt along the way that has kept us sane, our marriage intact, our son Liam in a great state of health and allowed us to deal with the sometimes overwhelming waves of emotions that you will experience as you move through your own journey.
We hope you find something in A Place of Miracles that changes you a little or helps you to cope a little better with the cards you have been dealt.....
Love Sean, Monique, Liam, Lenny and Angel Lily.
